After three years and change on Vox, I finally feel like I have arrived. Today I received my very first random toy through the mail from M-----l. He mentioned a few days ago that he had something that belonged to me. I wondered what it could be, but as it turns out it does belong to me. I can't figure out why M-----l would have a tiny Steeler helmet in the first place. He's a Bengal fan; I wouldn't expect him to own any items depicting the logo of a good football team even on accident.

I'd like to think that there's a nice girl out there somewhere who can stand to be around me for more than twenty minutes. And I'd like to think that she would say yes if I asked if she wanted to be my wife. But I'll tell you what - we're gonna have to get married on a Wednesday or something because I can't imagine how any weekend could be better than this one and I'd hate for the poor girl to start off our life together as second best.
I'm on my way back to Orlando now, and I'm still kind of dazed. This weekend has been a whirlwind of activity, culminating with the unbelievable emotional roller-coaster that was last night's game. It's going to take at least a day or two for everything to sink in, which works out for the best because blogging anything more than grainy photos from a phone is kind of a pain in the ass.
In the meantime, congratulations to the Arizona Cardinals and both (okay, okay... all) their fans. That was hell of a post-season run and a Super Bowl for the ages. Yinz took at least five years off my life. But none of that matters because the Pittsburgh Steelers are Super Bowl champs! For the sixth time!! I can still hardly believe I was there to see it.
