typealyze this
I've taken the Myers-Briggs test a bunch of times, and my personality type has come up the same every single time. It's never even been close. I'm an INFP - off the charts. I think anybody who's ever met me would agree. It's certainly the description that I would predict (and I did) for myself before taking the test.
So somebody should tell the good people at the Typealyzer that their script is broken. Yes, I sometimes lie here, but they're only little white lies. I don't lie about anything substantive. And this is the first time in at least fifteen years that anybody (or anything) has mistaken me for an extrovert. The one thing the script did get right, though, is that bit about avoiding conflict. I don't initiate confrontation. I just correct those who are wrong.
Here's the crucial graphic. This couldn't be - and there's no possible way to overstate this - more off the mark if you tried.

Your blog has a mind of its own.
Pretty soon it's going to take over all of Vox.
Myers Briggs, thank you. couldn't think of it.
I Will Dare is ESFP
However, jodi.vox.com is ISFP.
Clearly the thing is total hooey.
Backstory: my buddy's mom used to be a MB test administrator. I once tagged along with them on a family vacation to Ireland and during one painfully long car ride she administered an ad hoc verbal exam to us. According to her analysis I am an ISTJ which may be somewhat on the mark since my dad told me that's what he came up as when he took the test in the Army.
Of course the ideal is Jack Donaghy's "rare Extroverted, Intuitive, Aggressive."
I'm with cranky. your blog is the Mr. Hyde to your Dr. Jekyll.
I do agree there is something wonky with this little amusement - way too many ESPFs/Performers. curiously, it pegged me as athletic and sporty, which I most definitely are not.
a(nother) bit of personal trivia: I've never taken the M-B for real. I've taken it a bunch of times via these memes/time-wasters. I tend to be classified as an Introvert, but the rest is pretty random.
