I predicted a Curlin win yesterday, 2 minutes before they got to the posts. It's a classic case of "favored horse chokes when it counts the most (Derby), but comes back after being left for dead." Mama Soo-Cap'n can attest to my prediction.

I find horse racing only slightly more stimulating than NASCAR Racing, if only because it lasts a fraction of the time, and I actually care if the animals get hurt.

i normally don't pay attention. this year had caught my interest until saturday.

I would hardly say Street Sense choked in that race. Choking would not have resulted in a near photo-finish.

I was referring to Curlin choking at the Kentucky Derby. Street Sense certainly didn't come up small at the Preakness.
