best. weekend. ever.
I'd like to think that there's a nice girl out there somewhere who can stand to be around me for more than twenty minutes. And I'd like to think that she would say yes if I asked if she wanted to be my wife. But I'll tell you what - we're gonna have to get married on a Wednesday or something because I can't imagine how any weekend could be better than this one and I'd hate for the poor girl to start off our life together as second best.
I'm on my way back to Orlando now, and I'm still kind of dazed. This weekend has been a whirlwind of activity, culminating with the unbelievable emotional roller-coaster that was last night's game. It's going to take at least a day or two for everything to sink in, which works out for the best because blogging anything more than grainy photos from a phone is kind of a pain in the ass.
In the meantime, congratulations to the Arizona Cardinals and both (okay, okay... all) their fans. That was hell of a post-season run and a Super Bowl for the ages. Yinz took at least five years off my life. But none of that matters because the Pittsburgh Steelers are Super Bowl champs! For the sixth time!! I can still hardly believe I was there to see it.

Congratulations and best wishes for many days of post-game bliss! It was fun seeing the stream of grainy photos popping up on Vox all weekend.
I imagine your future wife will be required to pass a test much like the Eddie character in Diner required of his fiancée.
Congratulations. It was quite a game. I don't even want to do the math on how many years it took off mine. Or off my liver, since I felt the need to drink my depression away.
I was just watching the live feed from the airport. Great to see a few thousand fans turn out to welcome the team home.
I owe your charity $50 bucks, will do that this week to settle up.
I'm so glad you got to go and see your team play in such an exciting game. I went last year and had a blast, even though I didn't care about either team (and I was working the volunteer gig for +12 hours).
Speaking of potential significant others, I had a first date on Saturday at the Coyotes game. I'm pretty passionate about my teams so there's a good chance I scared that guy off.
My favorite moment of the game was when Larry Fitzgerald was running in for a touchdown and you can see your Tony P. in the background throwing his hands down in an 'I give up' move and not even bothering trying to catch him.
That was pretty sweet. I hope we keep Larry around for a long time.
